Exploring Film #6: Light bleed + BW = Time travel

Chris_Golf_BW1_01_Taron

Okay, so the title is a little misleading but it does look like I took these pictures decades ago.

Camera: Taron EyeMax
Film: Ilford FP4 Plus 125

Another camera that I’ve bought with light bleed. Oh well, you get what you pay for I guess. Moving on …

I actually quite like the vintage effect this camera produces, now that I know about it, and am looking forward to using it sometime with purpose — the only thing is you have to dedicate at least 24 shots to this one effect. Hmmm.

Taron EyeMax

  • 35mm film, rangefinder.
  • 45mm f/1.8 – f/16 lens
  • Shutter speeds:
    Bulb > 1/500s
  • ISO: 10 > 800
  • Selenium light meter
  • Self-timer
  • Manufactured by Taron, 1961 – 1969 (?)
